In preparation for the Interim Critique 4th Nov

INTERIM CRIT 4th Nov - 5CTA1041 Design Studio 3

Please arrive early to be on time for start at 10am. There may be an external guest critic but this is not yet confirmed.
This is a crit of ALL WORK IN PROGRESS.
You will present the following:
Prepare a 5 minute talk about your work - be prepared to justify your design ideas and progress and intentions

1. PDF presentation of all work to date. Ensure you have a coherent order of the work - making sense to read, view etc
2. Print out KEY work in progress to pin up/show - this can be A3 size (select with care from sketchbooks and documents you are working on)
3. Site and building MAPPING - links where ever possible to the design concept
4. Accurate drawings of the space, sketch models/models/experimental spatial, concept models, 1 x A3 concept board
5. CONCEPT - what is your inspiration is, what is your proposal? Although early progress work, you still need to have a clear idea now.
6. Spatial Analysis task - linked where ever possible to the site/concept - ordered visuals and progress

Start preparing this now as next week studio day is spent on own developments and the London trip on Wed.
This is a formative assessment point. Be on time, be clear and prepared. You will absolutely need to spend additional time on this from now through to the 4th Nov.
Regards,
Heidi
